Solution * the call barring code is setup by your network normally they dont give these out , if there is a particular number that you are trying to call and it is barred try contacting your network and ask them to unbar it . If you wish to bar calls from being made this is only available on some networks and again you will have to contact your provider
(2) Nokia N95 Wont start up properly:My nokia N95 was working fine and when i went to charge it up it went onto the white Nokia logo screen. Now it wont turn off unless the battery is removed and every time i turn it on it gets as far as the same white and blue logo screen but no further. The screen dims and then lights up again.Please Help! I use this phone for my business and am lost without it!!!
Solution * I solved the problem by removing both the data and SIM-card, placing back the battery and booting it. It did start up normally, and pretty fast by the way, after which I returned the SIM-card. Switch off and on and problem is solved. I didn't place back the datacard yet though
* I had the same problem as the first two with the startup going straight to the white screen with the nokia logo and then it would turn off and restart in a cycle, taking out the battery would not help. This was after having the phone for only 9 days... took it to the Nokia Care Centre, got them to reflash the phone's firmware and it was fixed. I suggest doing the same, it's a firmare corruption that is causing the startup hang. Hope this helps you... ! :)

(7) Problems with Nokia N95Up until about 5 mins ago my phone was working fine, then the screen froze and switched the phone off, now the phone will turn on but there is no sound and the display lights up but that is all it will do.
Solution 1. Just a suggestion, check that your SIM card has not been dislodged by removing the battery and re-positioning it!

2. The N95 works after all. Just download mt6227 usb driver from the internet and also pc sync. For the COM port, try different COM ports through the nokia pc suite and at least one of them will work.
3. Make sure you use Nokia PC Suite 6.85 for N95. Remove old PC Suite using Nokia Tool. Don't just remove from Add/Remove in Control Panel. some files remain on PC and get used in installation of new PC Suite, then corrupt the program.
4. never buy the china set for n95...if you really want the hardware and sofware, function like real n95, u better consider the real one, which sold RM1800++ in malaysia, never buy RM700++ one, really not worth it. many problem.
(9)Nokia N95 not playing downloaded songsI downloaded the update for my N95 from www.nokia.com.But now the music I had on the phone doesn't play. I get the following message "licences have expired"I completed the backup and restore as the program told me and changed the date back and forward, I even reinstalled media player and nokia suite thinking the problem might be there.Does anyone know how to fix this?Can I go back to the old version?? Then you must add the drivers to your hardware ware from your control panel on your pc by adding the phones as new hardware. I have read that gameboy and the game roms for it are about the only thing that can be loaded into these phones without using a flashing device or using linux (wich is supposed to be a new option as opposed to flashing) for these phones.

Solution 1. You can unlock it, but your contract will not go away. If you signed on the dotted line for 18 months or whatever, then that is when the contract will end. Type *#06# to displays the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number, that's the number required to unlock your phone. However your service provider could BLOCK it permanently.

You should use code number 7 first. If it does'nt work, try code 1, then 2... Different codes work on different phones. Remember that you only have 5 tries. 2. Call your service provider and ask them to send you the settings for the WAP/INTERNET/PEPPER service. When you receive the msg SAVE or INSTALL (which ever come up) and try using the phone browser again. If there's no joy, try...If you use PC Suite download Opera browser for your phone, and install it on your phone.
