My E250 phone message is locked. what can I do now ?

Cellphone Solution :

Enter *2767*2878# That will reset all settings and passwords to default.

If that don’t work, enter *2767*3855# (please beware that the last one will erase all information from the phone!)

Cellphone Problem-2 : GPRS

Samsung SGH-D880 is a GPRS only phone, 3G/WCDMA/HSDPA/UMTS support is missing. Therefore, it cannot be used in Korea, which is a CDMA only territory--a simple 1900 MHz band is not enough.Any other suggestions for relevant phones?

IMEI number have no slash between numbers. See mobile manuals to identify the correct IMEI no. You didn't mark your Mobile Company/ Brand.

On a Series 60 based phone, two key sequences will allow to restore your phone to a cleaner state:

Normal Reset (*#7780#) : Restores ini files from rom but preserves user data (photos, 3rd party apps etc)

Deep Reset (*#7370#) : This reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten.

In both case, the phone will ask you a confirmation and you will have to enter a security code (12345 by default).

Files and applications stored on E: drive are not be affected by these sequences.

A cell phone, like any other electronic device, has its problems:

Analog cell phones suffer from a problem known as "cloning." A phone is "cloned" when someone steals its ID numbers and is able to make fraudulent calls on the owner's account.

Here is how cloning occurs: When your phone makes a call, it transmits the ESN and MIN to the network at the beginning of the call. The MIN/ESN pair is a unique tag for your phone -- this is how the phone company knows who to bill for the call. When your phone transmits its MIN/ESN pair, it is possible for nefarious sorts to listen (with a scanner) and capture the pair. With the right equipment, it is fairly easy to modify another phone so that it contains your MIN/ESN pair, which allows the nefarious individual to make calls on your account.
