Nokia E71x Latest Discovery

Although there are few visual enhancements of the new Symbian S60 Feature Pack 2, which is hardly noticeable, and Symbian OS is behind more than ever. Even Windows Mobile Smartphone (non-touch screen) is a better OS. The Nokia E71x, menus are repetitive and confusing, the shortcuts never offer to take you where you want to go, and each corner is a menu configuration confusion of some kind. The main menu is cluttered with AT & T side, from YellowPages.com (which deserves its own icon) that AT & T Music icon, which actually leads to another menu, and no music player. The phone will also lose some interesting features of the Nokia E71 unlocked version. The phone had an option of substitution that allows the user to switch between a variety of default settings business acumen and personal settings. The new phone is all business.

Planning and productivity, the Nokia E71x are plenty of options. We just want to say that they were slightly shiny appearance. For some reason, the original E71, a nice calendar, the month that there was a list of active names is gone, replaced by more bad timing wire. In each shot, the camera focuses correctly on the background image instead of the foreground object, or when there was no background, just does not concentrate at all. If not autofocus on this camera is hard to say, and the phone does not use a button with two floors to help hang a picture, like all good cameras and AF-capable phones. These images represent the best proof that could receive multiple injections of the same subject.

 This year's World Mobile Congress (WMC) brought us more products to look forward to, as always, which will take time to make it to the market. Till then, here is a first from Sony Ericsson for 2009. We have the review of the Sony Ericsson W705. The W705 has a "G-Series" counterpart, which was released in late 2008, which is pretty good; let's see how good the Walkman version of the same is.

The Sony Ericsson W705 is a sleek and well-designed handset. With a slider form factor, it doesn't look extravagant, but sure looks smart. It has incorporated the smart looks of its G-Series counterpart, which is a plus point. The phone comes with two color options - Silver and Red. We received the red-colored handset, and we have to tell you that both genders will find it pretty attractive, especially women. The silver-colored handset is smarter looking and will surely be the top seller between the two.
Above the screen, we see the earpiece, the secondary camera for video calls, and a light sensor along with the Walkman logo.
At the top of the phone, there is a Walkman button. It's rather small and is difficult to access, especially when using the Shake Me Walkman feature.

To the left of the phone, we have the exposed multi-functional port (USB/Charging/Headset).
Although accessible, having the memory card slot placed under the battery cover is still uncomfortable. The slot is hot-swappable and on the left of the handset.

To the right, we have Volume Control and the Camera Shutter/Hotkey.


The back of the phone has a rubberized plastic finish, enabling a good grip. The speaker is placed at the end, while the camera and flash are placed beside each other towards the top left.

Some two years after its release, there are still plenty of people who’ll swear up and down that the E71 is the finest phone Nokia has ever produced — and for good reason. As a platform, S60 was the product of a simpler time when the smartphone market was dominated not by touchscreens, but by numeric keypads, and the E71 was arguably the last of a string of bona fide successes that Nokia enjoyed in the platform’s heyday alongside pioneering handsets like the N82 and N95. Thing is, the E71 was different than those other models in a very important way: it was elegant.

The E73 clocks in at just over 10 millimeters thick, but for some reason, it feels even thinner; that’s probably a result of some creative curves along either side of the back, a trick similar to the E71’s. The battery cover is a solid piece of metal that looks and feels great, though it has a tendency to smudge and oil up very, very easily, so you’ll want to keep a lint-free cloth (or, you know, a shirt sleeve) handy for when you’re trying to keep appearances.
The E73 also shares what might be its single most important trait with the E71: rock-solid construction.

If there was a complaint to be levied against the E71’s design, it’d have to be the keyboard; the rows were straight across rather than being curved upwards like most well-regarded portrait QWERTY handsets (BlackBerrys, for instance), and the keys — while well-contoured — didn’t have quite enough “click” to them. The E73 adds a hint of curve, but the key design and feel remain the same. We’re not huge on portrait QWERTY keyboards in general, admittedly — but whereas we’d be able to get proficient on a BlackBerry Bold within a minute of picking it up, we never stopped regularly making typos on the E73. It wasn’t disastrous enough to break the deal, but we do think Nokia could’ve made some minor changes here that would’ve helped immensely.
