It is an ultimate smartphone and high quality cameraphone. Nokia N8 includes 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zesis Optic and Zenon Flash. HD video recording option make this phone more gorgeous. Nokia N8 Available Through Vodafone

Nokia’s hotly-anticipated N8 smartphone will be joining Vodafone’s handset line-up “soon”.
The N8 is Nokia’s serious attempt at battling it out against the iPhone and HTC’s high-end Android devices.
Boasting a 12-megapixel camera with top-range Xenon flash, the N8 will even shoot video in HD. If you’re nowhere near a computer, you can still edit photos with a bundled picture editing tool pack.The Nokia N8 is due to be officially released in July this year.

You’ll be able to watch web TV, or listen to your tunes through an MP3 player that Nokia says will pump out the music for up to 50 hours.
Being largely an entertainment device, the screen on the N8 has been ramped up a notch as a capacitive AMOLED touchscreen.
Vodafone has added the N8 to its Coming Soon page, allowing Nokia faithfuls to register their interest to keep tabs on availability updates.
The N8 is the first of Nokia’s handsets to sport the brand new Symbian 3 OS, which promises to be the most intuitive platform Nokia has produced to date.

One Piece Concept of Nokia N8

How many users would actually brought an extra battery when you go out? You would rather to have an extra charger along or maybe a car charger instead. There also an option for you to have extended battery charger that can bring it anywhere if you are a heavy duty user.

By having the battery sealed in the phone, it can actually minimize the thickness of the device of 2~3mm allow it to looks slimmer and sleeker.

Beside that, the Nokia N8 is having an AMOLED screen which consume much lesser battery allowing it to last longer comparing with others model.


What if the battery got faulty?

Ahmad360 a member from ArabNokia forum have the answer for us.

He has actually shared some photos of his proto Nokia N8 and the removal of the battery.

It just need a Tork T6 (a guessing from the photo) screwdriver to unscrew 2 screws at the bottom and the battery can be removed. From the photos below, the battery look just like common BL-4D battery that used on Nokia N97 mini that can be purchased easily.

The design, which is quite a departure for Nokia, works very nicely. The device looks different from anything else on the market, with its tapered, sawn-off ends. In a way, partly due to its thickness proportionate to its other dimensions, it looks very slightly like an iPhone in a trendy case. It sits well in the hand. The screen (on which I saw little more than a clock) looks fine — I'm certainly glad to see Nokia move towards credible devices with capacitive touchscreens.
