The Samsung D840 is from the same family as the Samsung D800 & the popular Samsung D500 which are all slider type mobile handsets. Problem:

1.Check: I cant paste any documents from my pc to my cp unit of D840 using CARD READER USB.. when i paste my pictures, it shown that "THE DIST IS WRITE PROTECTED".. can u help me for this problem? so that i can paste my pics or impotant documents..

2.Gpert: When i slide up teh phone to use it nothing happens. All i get is a dark screen as if my phone is turned off, however i know it isnt becasue teh lights on the buttons still come on. I have checked to see if i can make still recieve calls which i can but still nothing appears on the screen.

3.Rwalkar: On text messaging i am receiving an envelope along with a questionmark how can i fix it as it is missing some of the text.

Solve:

1.Ans: Paste it in a different drive or ur fri pc...tat mstg ll displayed due to virus or loss of some dll file in a drive

2.Ans: This is a very simple problem, You need to buy a flex ribbon for your phone. This will end all your problems.

To sum up, the phone really doesn't excite me. Right from form factor to features, there is nothing that will give you pride of ownership. It costs Rs 10,100 with bill and warranty, and while this isn't very expensive, you get plenty of other good options for this price.
