Hi, I too changed the front cover, middle section and battery cover including keypad. Firstly I couldn't get any reception and now if someone rings it just vibrates, no sound comes out, they can hear me but I can't here them etc... I guess that by changing the facias ourselves we have damaged something inside. I am taking mine to a nokia repair shop and see what they day. 1. Hello, there I have the solution to remove the mic discovered by myself. get a metal screwdriver and heat the tip for about 20 seconds on a flame then push it through the back of the case behind the microphne and it should just pop out.
2. At the bottom near the phone charger is a round mic. You need to take it out of the old phone and put it in the new case. Dont ask me how to get it out as I am struggling
3. u just have damaged its earpiece and buzzer or u just forgot to move it from ur older middle section to the newer one

1. i had this problem
my nokia 6300 turned faulty, when i powered it on it flashed then
got a blank screen, u need to take it back to where you purchased ti from and request a replacement / refund. Its a hardware fault, it happened to two of my nokia 6300 phones.
2. Baby-dribble + Phone = Dead Phone
If your phone was exposed to baby-dribble, your kid might have killed your Phone.
Take it to your local Service-Center and have them take a look at it. Let them decide if the phone could be repaired or might be up for early replacement.
Normal warranty-conditions might not cover the damage if its "moisture-damage"
3. Its easier than you think to solve this problem.. I phoned Nokia and was told "Take your battery and SimCard out.. Qipe the SIM Card thouroghly" It worked a treat :)

(Solution-1) A word of advice dont publish your imei somebody can mess it up like a pie for
all seasons.
Before trying anything else, contact your service provider and ask for an unlock
code.
Usually, if you've been a customer of theirs for some time, they will provide
you with an unlock code for free. This is, by far, the best way to get your
phone unlocked.
Download software to generate the unlocking code. Software is available on some
websites for free and some pay websites that also offer support if things go
wrong.

Find the Serial number of the cell phone, also known as your IMEI number.
Using the software you have downloaded, enter in your Manufacturer (which is in
this case Nokia), your model number, and your IMEI number.

Disadvantages from this method is that there much more risk that you break your phone, because is needed to pull your Eeprom IC out from phone for programming. With data cable, all disadvantages are eliminated. Access to Eeprom IC data could be done without opening the phone's housing or changing the IMEI number. Just like you charge your phone, you plug data cable in the same way.

Q: What are Security Code, Phone Code, SP Lock, SIM Lock, etc.?
Basically every phone equipped with features to lock its function so that users won't be able to use the phone for calling or even just to browse the menu.

Security Code and Phone Code or Phone Lock is just the same term and meaning. If your phone ask this code, it means that the security function to use the phone is active. For Siemens, if you put your code wrongly for 3 times, the phone will enter to "Phone Disable" mode in which you need to send your phone to dealer.

SP Lock or Service Provider Lock is a security features for not being able to use the phone with different operator. Most operator trying to make money by keeping its customer stay connected. Problem Solution Nokia 1100

(1) Sim not valid
when i opened my celfon 1100 it showed sim not valid even the celfon was openline.and the other one is showed mark the serial number.
SOLUTION
1. clean the sim slot with spirit and insert the sim check if it is registerd with the network. advice by dogy
2. pls confirm frm service provider whether sim card is registered or not?else problem is with sim card slots....

(2) Sim card rejected
my phone says sim card rejected. It is the sim card that came with the phone.
SOLUTION
1. I would suggest bringing it to a local service provider (best place would be wherever you bought the phone), T-Mobil, Cingular, At&t, Verizon, or whatever service you use and making sure your service is still good, or if there is something physically wrong with the card or phone.
2. always not SIM problem, try another SIM , repeating same problem it may be SIM IC problem.
3. if so ncontact ur service provider and get another duplicate card with the payment of some fee..they'l give u the same number..its not the fault of phone,its the sim problem...may b entering puk code more times have caused it..

(3) Forgot my keyguard code in security

(4) Not charging" problem in Nokia 1100
I have got my Nokia 1100 phone just 2 months back. I am facing problems with it. Can somebody share their experiences with me on the followings? The mobile is showing "Not Charging" message again and again while try charging it. Charger ACP 7E was used to charge it. I checked the mobile battery with another Nokia 1100 set and found battery is OK.
SOLUTION
1. The problem is probaly in the connection between the two. First try changing your charger and testing the phone with a diffrent one, if thats doesnt work take it back to where you bought it and let them check the wiring, or just have it replaced.
2. 1- test charger2- test connector.3- test parts of charge; near "uem".4- test parts near scot.5- change "uem", but it's not easy to do.
