Top Ten Expensive Mobile of the World

Top Ten Expensive Mobile of the World

Goldvish “Le million” Price= $1,000,000 (£540,540)

Goldvish

A PR stunt it may be, and they surely can’t be expecting to sell any, but the Goldvish “Le million” is officially the most expensive mobile phone in the world, according the Guiness Books of Records. There’s even been talk of a $1.3million phone, but this has fewer diamonds than the Goldvish so I can’t see where the extra expense comes from! The “Le million” is a one off, featuring a blinding 120 carats worth of VVS-1 grade diamonds, according to designer Emmanuel Gueit. If $1 million is out of your price range. the Geneva-based Goldvish also offer several other diamond-encrusted 18k gold models in your choice of rose, yellow, or white, starting at a much more reasonable $25,600 (£13,837).

Vertu Signature Cobra Price= $310,000 (£167,567)

Vertu Cobra

Vertu is now taking orders for the Signature Cobra, designed by French jeweler Boucheron, but you had better be quick as only 8 are being made! The Cobra will feature one pear-cut diamond, one round white diamond, two emerald eyes and 439 rubies. Vertu will also be offering a “cheaper” version, ruby free, at $115,000 (£62,162).

Sony Ericsson Black Diamond Price = $300,000 (£162,162)

Sony Ericsson Black Diamond

Apparently the Black Diamond will be available in 2007, not from Sony Ericsson but by a company called VIPN. Initially only 5 unique numered pieces will be available for the unbelievable price of, wait for it… $300,000.

With regards to the specifications, don’t expect anything remarkable for your money. It will have Quad-band with Wi-Fi, an Intel 400Mhz processor running windows mobile 5, and a touch sensitive 2″ screen. It will also include internal memory of 128mb and will come with a 2Gb SD card for external storage, plus a respectable 4 Megapixel camera.

Vertu Diamond Price = $88,000 (£47,567)

Vertu Diamond

The Diamond is Vertu’s premium range of high-end mobile phones. As the name suggests the handsets in the Diamond range are diamond-encrusted handsets made from platinum. Only 200 of the handsets are being produced, the most expensive believed to be worth an estimated £50,000.

Motorola V220 Special Edition Price : £28,000 ($51,800)

Motorola

Austrian designer Peter Aloisson, has taken a standard Motorola, studded it with 1,200 diamonds and added a keyboard inlaid with 18 carat gold. The outcome is a £28,000 handset, suitable only for footballers and film stars!

Mobiado Professional EM (wood) Price : $1,900 (£1,027)

Mobiado

The Mobiado Professional EM, is a wood-clad upgrade of their earlier Nokia-based phone that includes a 1.3 megapixel camera, music player, FM radio, Bluetooth, and according to Mobiado it’s the first production phone with Titanium buttons. Only 200 are being made and each one has its limited number engraved on the back.

Gold Edition Nokia 8800 Phone Price= $2,700 (£1,459)

Gold Nokia 8800 Mobile Phone

If you have $2,700 to spare, you can now buy the Nokia 8800 in 24K gold. However, be warned, if you think you’ll be getting a better phone for your extra cash, you wont! The features found on the Gold Edition are the standard 8800 features, which are pretty basic. It includes a 0.5 Mega pixel SVGA camera, 64 MB of internal memory, 64 voice polyphonic rigntones, FM Radio, Mp3 Player, video recording and 180 mins talktime. However, the Gold Edition does includes a special edition box and charging dock!

Bang & Olufsen (Samsung) Serene = $1,250 (£675)

Bang and olufsen serene mobile phone

Bang & Olufsen hooked up with Samsung to design the sleek but unconventional Serene. It’s not very practical however, requiring a special screwdriver to access the battery and the SIM card, and its circular keypad will take some getting used to. Its not a bad looking phone and it even has a built-in motor to assist you in opening and closing the phone. For some strange reason they have positioned the camera lens on the side of the device, which will make it difficult to align snapshots via the viewfinder on the display.

Lamborghini 8800 Sirocco from Nokia $To be announced

The Russia based Gresso, is a new entry into the luxury phone market. Their aptly name “Gresso Luxury Phone” is made of gold and African Blackwood. Apparently they will be releasing a collection of five models called the Black Aura collection, and the designer is a “well known” Italian designer. Currently there are two versions of the African Blackwood phone, one with pink gold highlights named the Gresso Blackwood Gold Edition, and one made entirely of African Blackwood. In addition to the two African Blackwood phones Gresso also make a phone made entirely of pink gold named the Gresso Gold phone.

New Nokia 3608 Cell Phone

New Nokia 3608 Cell Phone

Today we spotted the new Nokia 3608c clamshell for the Chinese CDMA market, as well as a regular 3608 that is destined for unspecified parts of the world. While we are missing a few details and have only one photo, we did get this off of a public Nokia web server, so we have no doubt about the source of the information. We can also say with some certainty that this is a CDMA cell phone, not GSM, though we have no idea if it supports 3G EV-DO data like its dual-sliding brother, the 8208.

Nokia 3608 cell phone photos

Key features of the 3608 include a 1.3 megapixel camera, dual color displays, and GPS support. It also comes equipped with external touch sensitive music keys, an FM radio, and support for microSD memory cards as large as 4GB in size. Bluetooth stereo support is also included, as is a speaker independent voice dialing application.

Nokia lists the 3608 as having a "Series 40 Nokia like UI", so it seems clear that this isn't really a S40 device in the traditional sense. It is also unclear whether the 3608 is made for Nokia by another company, such as has been done with Pantech in the past. In any event, the spec sheet claims that this fashionable clamshell cell phone will be capable of up to 3.5 hours of talk time or 11 days of standby time on a full battery charge.

No word on when the device will be announced officially or when it might be available for purchase.

Laptop Mobile

MOBILE AS LAPTOP

Mobile is now using like a laptop computer.A huge amount of works are done by mobile. The works we can not finish without laptop computer is done by mobile for us.
What is laptop?

A laptop computer, or simply laptop (also notebook computer, notebook and notepad) is a small mobile computer, typically weighing 3-12 pounds (around 1.3 to 5.4 kilograms), although older laptops may weigh more.

Laptops usually run on a single main battery or from an external AC/DC adapter that charges the battery while also supplying power to the computer itself. Many computers also have a 3 volt cell to run the clock and other processes in the event of a power failure.

Laptops contain components that are similar to their desktop counterparts and perform the same functions, but are miniaturized and optimized for mobile use and efficient power consumption, although typically less powerful for the same price. Laptops usually have liquid crystal displays and most of them use different memory modules for their random access memory (RAM), for instance, SO-DIMM in lieu of the larger DIMMs. In addition to a built-in keyboard, they may utilize a touchpad (also known as a trackpad) or a pointing stick for input, though an external keyboard or mouse can usually be attached.

People are now talking about how mobile will works like laptop? But most of the people are thinking that mobile is like a laptop computer and the idea of the laptop is coming from mobile.

Advantages of mobile using as laptop :

Mobiles are very comfortable & useful on vacation.

The main advantage of laptop over their larger desktop counterparts is the inherent portability. Another advantage is the laptop's ability to operate on battery power in the case of a power outage and less energy consumption. But Mobile is smaller then laptop and can do as laptop.

Upgradeability

Laptops' upgradeability is severely limited, both for technical and economic reasons. As of 2006, there is no industry-wide standard form factor for laptops. Each major laptop vendor pursues its own proprietary design and construction, with the result that laptops are difficult to upgrade and exhibit high repair costs. With few exceptions, laptop components can rarely be swapped between laptops of competing manufacturers, or even between laptops from the different product-lines of the same manufacturer. Standard feature peripherals (such as audio, video, USB, 1394, WiFi, Bluetooth) are generally integrated on the main PCB (motherboard), and thus upgrades often require using external ports, card slots, or wireless peripherals. Other components, such as RAM modules, hard drives, and batteries are typically user-upgradeable.Mobile could be like this.It can be used like computer as a laptop.

Mobile can be used as laptop. If we creat small device for mobile as laptops have removable CPUs, although support for other CPUs is restricted to the specific models supported by the laptop motherboard. The socketed CPUs are perhaps for the manufacturer's convenience, rather than the end-user, as few manufacturers try new CPUs in last year's laptop model with an eye toward selling upgrades rather than new laptops. In many other laptops, the CPU is soldered and non-replaceable.Mobile is supporting as laptop. Some kinds of mobile are running by windows application.

Mobile using as laptop is now populer to all. Many laptops also include an internal MiniPCI slot, often occupied by a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth card, but as with the CPU, the internal slot is often restricted in the range of cards that can be installed. The widespread adoption of USB mitigates I/O connectivity to a great degree, although the user must carry the USB peripheral as a separate item.We can use mobile as laptop because it is now upgraded like computer.Al l kinds of mobile application is now run by mobile.

Samsung U900 Soul Review

Samsung U900 Soul Review

The Samsung U900 Soul is Samsung's flagship phone for 2008. Is it a triumph of marketing, or can the Soul really live up to the mega hype?

At first glance, you can tell that the Soul is something different from the usual Samsung slide design. We've watched the slide phone evolve over the past 4 years from the compact but definitely-not-thin D500 to the superslim D900 to the wow-that-really-is-thin U600 with its touchscreen controls that left some users unimpressed. More recently the Samsung G600 has been top of the bestseller lists. The reason why we're waffling on about the history of the slide phone is because it's obvious that the Soul is something quite different. Let's call it the next-generation slide phone. The photos here do it no justice at all - trust us, it looks much better in the flesh. The body is made from metal, giving it a high quality feel, like one of Nokia's premium handsets. We absolutely love the sleek, minimalist design and the way that the thumb rests securely on the base of the slide. The slide moves smoothly up to reveal a flat keypad. OK, so the keypad won't be to everyone's taste, but if you can handle a Motorola RAZR, you'll have no problems with this. The U900 is ultra-slim at 12.9mm thick, and is almost exactly the same size as the old Samsung D900.

The feature that truly sets the U900 apart from previous slide phones from Samsung is the touch-sensitive navigation keypad. Samsung's marketing blurb tell us that this is a "Magical touch interface". They were clearly out to lunch on that day. Folks, we'll let you into a secret: there's no such thing as magic. What we have here is a small touch-sensitive screen placed below the main LCD display. The touchscreen is icon-driven and the icons change according to the menu selected. It's very similar to the one used in the LG Venus and the Samsung E950. Like all touch-sensitive controls, this is a love-it or hate-it thing.

If the U900 is a flagship phone, you'd expect it to have top-end features and you wouldn't be wrong. It's the first Samsung phone to incorporate a 16 million colour display. It has fast 3G with download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. It has a powerful camera, similar in quality to the G600's. Let's be clear about the camera. It isn't the best (try the Nokia N95 or Sony Ericsson K850i for the best camera phones), but it's a very good runner-up. We always get people complaining that their Samsung camera phones are rubbish, and our advice is: read the manual, and make sure that the settings are set to maximum resolution, because by default they aren't. The camera on the U900 is very good - so there! There's also a music player that can handle a wide range of formats, plus an FM radio.

Features of the Samsung U900 include:

  • 5 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, face-detection autofocus, image stabiliser and Power LED flash
  • Video camera (MPEG4 / 3GPP) / 3G video calling
  • Display: TFT, 16 million colours, 320 x 240 pixels
  • Music player (MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+ formats, OMA, WM digital rights management)

  • Personal organiser functions
  • Triband GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) plus 3G

Mobile Review Hyundai W100

CECT/ Hyundai W100
The CECT W100 Wrist Watch Phone offers a unique experience with a 65,000 colour TFT LCD touch screen, which incorporates some of the latest touch phone technology. Amazingly the "watch" hides a 1 GB flash memory system complimenting the 1.3 megapixel camera, offering more than enough memory to save those special moment. The "phone" also has a traditional in-built FM radio, phone book, and other standard facilities present in the traditional handsets of today.on the M600 have become bright spots, which maked me admire the manufacturers determination and strength to improve products constantly.
