1st of wearing a watch phone at this time can easily give you high profile performance wherever you go. The Liquid will easily be a conversation piece in any party or gathering. Not many will be willing to fork out that much for a piece of hardware that is harshly compromised to offer the same breathe of features on a smart phone from Sony Ericsson, HTC or Nokia, to mention some. The watch phone is a quad band GSM with 3G/HSDPA for creation smooth 3G calls possible. There’s no internet browser to benefit from 3G and rightly . Try imagining yourself surfing on a 1.43-inch display with washed out 256k color support. It’s surprisingly a capacitive touch screen covered in scratch proof glass. A Flash based user interface enables the touch screen feature.
LG added voice recognition to control the watch phone so you can input commands by voice. Conversely it has text to speech ability that reads text messages so you can minimize straining your eyes reading text on a small display. Initiating a voice call can really be slick with voice commands just ask nicely and talk away.
Bluetooth with A2DP which is great so you can listen to your favorite mp3 files without a dandling wire to it, as if the 49 x 49 x 13.8mm body can accommodate a headphone jack. Until you realize its 80MB internal memory can only accommodate a few dozen low bit rate mp3 files. A microSD slot is asking a lot on its diminutive body. In fact, you can just take out its nice leather strap and you have the smallest mobile phone on earth.
The watch phone features 8 different watch faces you can customize it with. They’re basically home screen wallpapers that show you the time in analog or digital in various display schemes.
Thats just great! but they should come out with a way to talk with the watch placed in your ear.. Like keeping your palm to you ear.. that way no need to carry a blue tooth ear set all the time.. They should also get a jack..
The LG CU515 offers a simple, user-friendly design, decent call quality, and a solid feature set that includes 3.5G support, Push to Talk, stereo Bluetooth, and world phone capability.It has a disappointing external display and it lacks a camera flash and voice dialing. Design With its minimalist design and clean lines, the CU515 looks somewhat like Sprint's LG Music.Sure, the CU515 lacks its predecessor's external music controls, but the two handsets are roughly the same size (3.78 inches by 1.95 inches by 0.72 inch vs. 3.8 inches by 1.95 inches by 0.61 inch). The CU515 is a tad heavier (3.36 ounces vs. 3.14 ounces), but it still makes for a comfortable feel in the hand and it slips easily into a pocket. As with the Muziq, the CU515's unassuming design doesn't quite reflect the high-end features inside. But for some people, that's quite all right. The CU515 is available in black (our review model) or plum.
Front and center is the CU515's externa,ll display. It's not quite what we were hoping for on a phone of this caliber; not only is it rather small (0.98 inch, 96x64 pixels) but it's also monochrome, neither of which is ideal on a megapixel camera phone. The display won't function as a viewfinder for self-portraits and it doesn't support photo caller ID. It does show the date, time, battery life, signal strength, and numeric caller ID, but only the brightness level is adjustable. Completing the exterior of the phone are a volume rocker and the PTT button on the left spine while the microSD card slot and headset/charger jack sit on the right spine. The speakerphone button on the top of the rear face is a unique feature. Though we like that it lets us easily activate the speakerphone when we're on a call, we'd instead prefer to find such a control on the phone's side.
Below the screen is the well-designed navigation array, which closely resembles the LG Muziq. The arrangement is spacious, and although the controls are flat with the surface of the phone, they're tactile and easy to use by feel. There's a four-way toggle with a central OK button, two soft keys, a camera shortcut, a Clear control, and the Talk and End/Power button. There's also a button for opening a multitask menu, and the toggle doubles as a shortcut to the Messaging menu, the instant messaging application, your Contacts list, and the My Stuff folder. The OK button in the middle of the toggle activates the Web browser when the phone is in standby mode; to open the main menu you have to use the left soft key instead.
The keypad buttons also resemble those on the Muziq. They're also flat with the surface of the phone, but their large size makes them easy to use. We avoided misdials, but even quick texters may need to look at the keys if they want to bang out a message. The numbers on the keys are larger, but the backlighting could be a tad brighter.

LG CU720: One of LG appliance stars of 2007 was certainly the LG Shine. At the time, the only example available was the LG Shine KE970, made primarily for the European and Asian markets. You can get an unlocked version for the United States, but it would cost you a pretty penny. Also, it did not have 3G, and its features are quite underwhelming. Fast-forward several months later we finally got the American counterpart, the LG CU720 Shine. It is not only quad-band (rather than tri-band as KE970), the CU720 Shine also comes equipped with 3G. Aside from that, not much has improved - there are still many of the same characteristics, the same flat keyboard, and I did not like the CU720 joystick navigation. But if you really need the shiniest cursor on the block phone, the LG Shine certainly fits the bill. The price is $ 149.99 with a two-year contract for service. Design: The LG Shines perfectly and personifies its name. Not only does it shine, it positively gleams. It has a beautiful polished metal exterior and a sparkling mirror-finished squarely screen that exudes luxury and refinement. In fact, you can use the screen as a small compact mirror when the phone is in standby mode. Measuring 3.93 inches high by 1.99 inches wide by 0.59 inch thick and weighing about 4.23 ounces, Shine has a solid stainless steel casing which makes it very solid feel in the hand. The Radiance of the slider mechanism shows strength, and it requires a strong push to enable it to slide smoothly. Likewise for KE970, however I wish they could make it easier to open since my fingers often slipped on the shiny surface of the phone.

The phone also works well as just a phone. My friend that called me heard me loud and clear, as well, although the quality suffers a bit in windy areas.
