Nokia 6300 disassembly
Tools required: Torx 6 screwdriver
First remove the battery cover & battery. Remove the two screws you see.
Run your fingernail around the join of the front cover and then remove the front cover.
Your phone will now look like below. Now remove the four screws you can see.
The top part of the phone (PCB and LCD screen) can now be removed from the middle chassis.
A metal frame surrounds the LCD screen. It's held on with clips around the edge of the PCB. Unclip and remove.
You can now remove the LCD screen. It's attached by a ribbon which connects like a plug and socket. Simply lift it upwards and it'll unplug. You can now replace the LCD. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.
