hey, did you ever fix your nokia 6300 microphone problem? mine quit on me recently after changing the housing.
Hi, I too changed the front cover, middle section and battery cover including keypad. Firstly I couldn't get any reception and now if someone rings it just vibrates, no sound comes out, they can hear me but I can't here them etc... I guess that by changing the facias ourselves we have damaged something inside. I am taking mine to a nokia repair shop and see what they day. If anyone has any other ideas about how to fix this please let me know

1. Hello, there I have the solution to remove the mic discovered by myself. get a metal screwdriver and heat the tip for about 20 seconds on a flame then push it through the back of the case behind the microphne and it should just pop out.
2. At the bottom near the phone charger is a round mic. You need to take it out of the old phone and put it in the new case. Dont ask me how to get it out as I am struggling
3. u just have damaged its earpiece and buzzer or u just forgot to move it from ur older middle section to the newer one

My Nokia 6300 shows only a black screen? I suspect my baby dribbled over it too much but the battery seems fine. I can receive and make calls but cannot see anything on the screen.

1. i had this problem
my nokia 6300 turned faulty, when i powered it on it flashed then
got a blank screen, u need to take it back to where you purchased ti from and request a replacement / refund. Its a hardware fault, it happened to two of my nokia 6300 phones.
2. Baby-dribble + Phone = Dead Phone
If your phone was exposed to baby-dribble, your kid might have killed your Phone.
Take it to your local Service-Center and have them take a look at it. Let them decide if the phone could be repaired or might be up for early replacement.
Normal warranty-conditions might not cover the damage if its "moisture-damage"
3. Its easier than you think to solve this problem.. I phoned Nokia and was told "Take your battery and SimCard out.. Qipe the SIM Card thouroghly" It worked a treat :)

My speaker is broken on my phone, i got a piece of metal caught in it at work, and now it crackles badly if the volume goes above 3.
It would either be the metal has punctured the speaker cone, or the metal is vibrating in there.
