Cellphone Solution Nokia 6030

The Nokia 6030 is a GSM dual band handset operating on frequencies 900 and 1800 MHz (850 and 1900 MHz in the North American model), with automatic switching between frequencies. It is small in size with dimensions of 104 x 44 x 18 mm and weighs 90 grams. It also has 3MB Shared Memory.

The 6030 supports GPRS up to 40 kbit/s speed and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) 2.0 services. An XHTML browser is integrated, allowing for WAP web capability. The phone book can hold up to 300 entries and its calendar can hold up to 500 entries.

On the bottom panel of the Nokia 6030 is a 4-pin connector similar to a USB port, a bit smaller than normal 4-pin mini-USB connectors, but it is actually a FBus port, named the EZ Flash port, and the data cable for this port is not supplied for end-users. Only authorized Nokia support have the ability to make use of the port. Please be aware that there is NO official data cable connection for 6030 end-user. Those so-called "CA-45" cables for sale are counterfeits or an attempt to copy a Nokia special EZ flash cable, CA-45DS. The official Nokia CA-45DS actually has a connector that fits into the headphone jack and the FBus port on one end, and the other end is a connection much like an ethernet cable that hooks into the flash box.

Charging Problem

Problem :

My Nokia 6030 is  showing not charging.

Solve:

1)change battery
2)use OG charger
3)remove capacitor or verister near battery connector
4)change BSI related dual resister.
post result.

Nokia Future Mobile Concept

Designer : Kimberly Hu
This a mobile concept only designed by Kimberly Hu.He designed this mobile for nokia.Scentsory is a mobile communication device that works with the senses of smell, sight, hearing and touch, giving users the ability to experience remote communication on multi-sensory levels. With the development of Scentsory, remote interfacing will become more biologically natural. The future ofmobile communication is ready to take part in rich, multi-layered, multi-sensory experiences.

In addition to basic audiovisual features, Scentsory is able to detect, transmit and emit smells. It can also radiate colours, lighting, and temperature from the caller?s environment.

When the phone is in ?flat mode? (opened flat), the LED touchpad, two screens and stereo speakers for audiovisual calls are accessible. (Wireless ?earbuds? are available.) In ?open mode?, two screens with a hidden camera and stereo speakers, interior scent detectors, emitter and exterior temperature sensors are revealed. In ?closed mode?, the phone?s slim profile befits traditional voice calls. The LED screen on the lower folding surface alerts the user to incoming calls.

Smell, the most evocative of the senses, can unconsciously trigger entire memories, complete with deep-rooted associated emotions. The average human is able to recognise approximately 10,000 different odours. Over time, odour-memory remains as other recollections fade. People recall smells with 65% accuracy after a year, while visual recollection of photographs sinks to about 50% after only three months.Nanotechnology plays a key role in the development of this new device. Using highly sophisticated sensors, the electronic ?nose? samples the odour of the caller?s environs and transmits this to the recipient electronically. Scientists have found that a distinct genetic pattern is associated with every odour, so it is simply a matter of matching electrical harmonics with gene activity. This way, the perception of a smell by electrical stimulation could be technologically induced.

Nokia N8 Smartphone

The Nokia N8, Nokia's latest smartphone, intuitively connects to the people, places and services that matter most. With the Nokia N8 handset, people can create compelling content, connect to their favorite social networks and enjoy on-demand Web TV programs and Ovi Store software apps. The Nokia N8 mobile phone introduces a 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash and a large sensor that rivals those found in compact digital cameras. Additionally, the Nokia N8 cell phone offers the ability to make HD videos and edit them with an intuitive photo editing suite.

Social networking is second nature to the Nokia N8 mobile phone. People can update their status, share location and photos, and view live feeds from Facebook and Twitter in a single app directly on the home screen. Calendar events from social networks can also be transferred to the device calendar. The Nokia N8 comes with free global Ovi Maps walk and drive GPS navigation, guiding people to places and points of interest in more than 70 countries worldwide.

Powering the Nokia N8 is Symbian^3, the latest edition of the world's most used smartphone software, which introduces several major advances, including support for gestures such as multi touch, flick scrolling and pinch-zoom. The Nokia N8 phone also offers multiple, personalizable homescreens which can be loaded with software apps and widgets. The new 2D and 3D graphics architecture in the platform takes full advantage of the Nokia N8's hardware acceleration to deliver a faster and more responsive user interface. Symbian^3 also raises the bar in performance by delivering greater memory management allowing more applications to run in parallel for a faster multi- tasking experience.

The design, which is quite a departure for Nokia, works very nicely. The device looks different from anything else on the market, with its tapered, sawn-off ends. In a way, partly due to its thickness proportionate to its other dimensions, it looks very slightly like an iPhone in a trendy case. It sits well in the hand. The screen (on which I saw little more than a clock) looks fine — I'm certainly glad to see Nokia move towards credible devices with capacitive touchscreens.

Nokia N900 Runs Linux-Based Maemo OS

The N900 is Nokia's first Maemo OS smartphone and it's their first Maemo version 5 device. Maemo is a Linux-based OS, and prior versions powered Nokia's non-phone Internet tablets like the N770, N800 and N810. Maemo has morphed significantly since the N810 and it's now more of a consumer device than a geek tool. The User interface is impressively modern, slick and fun with its cool sound effects, animations and transitions, and the ARM Cortex A8 with GPU is very fast. The N900 is in some ways a developer's platform since it's Nokia's first foray into what may become the eventual replacement OS for Nseries high end phones, but that doesn't mean it requires a degree in computer science or that it's not a pleasant product to use. It means that Nokia wants to attract more developers to their new platform since the world's abuzz for phones with strong app stores.

The N900 is an unlocked GSM world phone with EDGE that will work with any GSM carrier. It has 3G HSDPA 10 Mbps on the Euro 2100MHz band and on T-Mobile's US AWS 1700/2100MHz bands. T-Mobile users: this is definitely a phone worth looking at! We don't see that many cutting edge, high end phones with T-Mo's US 3G bands and it's pleasantly surprising that Nokia made one since they usually opt for the larger installed base of AT&T users and their 850/1900MHz bands. Do you use AT&T? You'll get EDGE for data but not 3G since the N900's cellular radio doesn't support those bands.

The N900 is full of flagship specs-- gone are the slow Symbian OS CPUs and paltry RAM. The smartphone runs on a 600MHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU with hardware 3D graphics acceleration in the form of the PowerVR SGX with OpenGL ES 2.0 support (same as the iPhone 3GS). The N900 has 256 megs of RAM and can use virtual memory up to 1 gig. It has 32 gigs of flash storage and an SDHC microSD card slot. The 5 megapixel autofocus camera has a dual LED flash and a Carl Zeiss lens that's up to Nseries standards. The phone has WiFi with seamless switching between WiFi and cellular data networks (no there's no UMA calling but there is VoIP), Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR with a full set of profiles and a GPS that works with Nokia's own Ovi Maps. The resistive 3.5", 800 x 480 pixel display has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor and a proximity sensor.

Maemo is backed up by a superscalar ARM Cortex-A8 processor to deliver a PC-like multitasking experience and a super-fast, fully interactive, Mozilla-powered browser that has to be seen to be appreciated.
You can also download heaps of great apps from the Ovi Store and the Maemo open-source communityMaemo Select, like Firefox, Qik, Twitter clients and games.

Nokia gets three new qwerty handsets

Nokia gets all QWERTY on us with three new handsets

Nokia will be focusing on improving messaging and social networking tools with the launch of three new handsets – the Nokia C3, C6 and E5 - all of which feature full QWERTY keyboards.

Nokia C3

First to the new line-up is the Nokia C3. With an estimated price of EURO 90 ($122) this fairly budget handset offers a very reasonable variety of features considering its price. Based on Nokia’s popular Series 40 cell phone platform, the C3 will incorporate Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat and, for the first time, users will be able to set up email and chat accounts straight from the device, without the need for a PC.

The in-built camera on the C3 is more of a gesture than anything though, only coming in at 2-megapixels. However, added Wi-Fi connectivity, a 2.4-inch screen and support for a 8GB memory card may sway your vote. This reasonably low-cost handset may end up being a favored choice for younger cell phone users, especially considering its availability in bright tones such as hot pink, golden white and slate grey.

Nokia C6

Ticking the box for a Symbian-based smart phone, the Nokia C6 features a much larger 3.2-inch touch screen with a full slide out QWERTY keyboard and a higher res 5-megapixel, complete with in-built camera with auto-focus and flash.

Also steering its users towards down the social networking path (it’s possible to view Facebook feeds directly on the cell phone home-screen), the Nokia C6 comes complete with the free walk and drive navigation feature, Ovi Maps.

This model is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2010 with an estimated price of EUR 220 ($298).

Nokia E5

Finally, rounding off the trio is Nokia’s latest addition to its E series range, the Nokia E5. Based on the design of previous handsets, the Nokia E72 and Nokia E63 this Symbian-based model is promised to offer direct access to over 90 per cent of the world’s corporate email through Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler.

The Nokia E5 is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2010 with a recommend price of around EUR 180 ($244).

Nokia N97 Features

Nokia N97 is a touch screen "mobile computer" in the Nseries of smartphones by Nokia, with a fold-out QWERTY keyboard.
Announced on 2 December 2008, the N97 is Nokia's second touchscreen phone (after the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic) based on the Symbian OS S60 5th edition platform.
The Nokia N97 was released in US flagship stores on 9 June 2009 and on 26th June 2009 was released worldwide. In September 2009 it was reported that two million N97 handsets had been sold in three months following its release.
The N97 ships with trial versions of Quick Office, Adobe reader, Boingo and JoikuSpot Premium as well as Nokia's own Ovi Maps and Ovi store. The initial software had mixed reception, prompting the release of new firmware in October 2009. Nokia released the new firmware with kinetic scrolling for the N97 to address the major issues present in the firmware the device launched with. However, the new firmware still causes problems with some functions of the device.
