The Nokia 8810 is a 1998 model mobile phone which is compatible with European providers only. It operates on the frequencies of GSM 900, GSM 1800.
The Nokia 8810 is not capable of accessing the Internet, due to the limitations of GPRS access. Unfortunately, there is no MMS capability. On top of sending messages, the Nokia 8810 is equipped with intelligent t9 typing, which allows you to easily type text messages without pressing each key upto 4 times for the correct letter.
The user interface is about the same as most other Nokias I have seen, very easy to use with quick access to numbers and other features. The messaging facility doesn't benefit from the predictive text input on some newer models though. The phone has a number of configurable profiles, easily selectable depending upon your environment and the phone has a vibrating alert for when you're in meetings .etc.
The Good: The nokia 8810 looks really snazzy and cool. All my m8's think it looks brand new, when in fact it is quite old.
The Bad: The battery lasts for about a day and it cuts out whilst you are trying to speak to someone, or text someone which is annoying.
