1.Lirash: HI,THIS MAY SEEM LIKE A STUPID QUESTION BUT HOW DOES ONE SAVE A NUMBER TO SPEED DIAL ON THE SAMSUNG I600.
THE MANUAL SAYS WHEN THE CONTACT IS OPEN GO TO MENU AND THEN SPEED DIAL. I HAVE DONE THIS BUT THERE IS NO SPEED DIAL OPTION.

SCH-i600. Also, I miss the ability to view notes associated with tasks from
the handheld. Can anyone recomend ways in achieving this?
I have visited the MS mobile/ppc/smart phones site in hopes of finding
applications that would enhance the productivity features on the phone but
most of what I see are cosmetic applications to change the phone's look or
rings tones.
I'll appreciate any comments/suggestions.

1. On the Home screen, press the Contacts soft key. You
can also press the Start soft key and select Contacts.
2. Select a contact from the list.
3. Scroll to a number, e-mail address, or web page
address.
4. Press the Menu soft key and select Add to Speed Dial.
5. If necessary, enter the name you want.
6. In the Keypad assignment field, select a location.
7. Press the Done soft key

The i600 is difficult to fault. Really. Compact and well-built, it is an ideal smartphone device. Even the tiny elastic-attached plastic covers to the different ports seem as though they might last as long as the handset itself. The micro keyboard might take some getting used to if you are unfamiliar with these types of devices and the mixture of grey and black colouring on the keyboard could cause a little confusion at first.
