With its diamond-cut design and crystal center key, the Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism is aimed at design-conscious consumers. Collaborating with creative designer Frederique Daubal, the laser etched graphic designs, individual wallpapers and accessories, communicate the reflection of light and capture the feel of angular prisms and triangles. The full design of the aluminum back cover, together with light effects, makes each handset unique. The 7900 Crystal Prism features a huge oled display, with modern art wallpapers inspired by Daubal. It comes with a 2.0-megapixel camera, 3G technology for fast and easy downloads and browsing, 1 GB of internal memory and a music player with matching earphones.

In creating this unique design, inspiration is taken from the way in which crystals are formed in precious stones and minerals. ‘For the backplate we were looking at light and different directions,’ says Daubal. ‘The first thing for me was to look through a diamond. You see all these different intensities of light.’
