Verizon Wireless XV6900
Experience the future of mobility with the Verizon XV6900. Powered by Windows Mobile 6 Professional, this phone features an easy-to-use touch screen, 3-D interface, stylish white compact shell, and brilliant new home screen. Customizable and optimized for entertainment, you'll have your games, music, videos, and more at your fingertips with the XV6900.
If you've been waiting for the Verizon Wireless XV6900 ever since it was announced at CTIA 2008, today is your lucky day. Verizon Wireless announced that you can now get its version of the HTC Touch through its online store for $249.99 with a two-year contract and after discounts and rebates. The XV6900 is much like the Sprint HTC Touch, except it comes in a striking white color (that's actually pretty hot). The Windows Mobile 6 (not WM 6.1 yet) smartphone also features Bluetooth, EV-DO, a 2-megapixel camera, and HTC's TouchFLO interface. We're hoping to get a review unit this week or next, so stay tuned for a full review. In the meantime, you can get a closer look at the Verizon Wireless XV6900 in the First Look video to the right.

The Good: The Verizon Wireless XV6900 is an attractive and compact smartphone with a cool touch interface. It's also equipped with Bluetooth, EV-DO, Windows Mobile 6, and a 2-megapixel camera.
The Bad: The XV6900 lacks Wi-Fi, and unlike the Sprint HTC Touch, Verizon doesn't offer its entertainment services or preloaded instant-messaging clients on the device.
The Bottom Line: Verizon Wireless XV6900 is a stunning smartphone with a cool touch interface and generally good performance, but the Sprint version offers a slightly better value for your money.
