(1) White lines on razr screen!
I'm not exactly sure what happened to the phone, i have an 18-month-old daughter so there is no telling, but now the inside screen has a whole bunch of white lines going through it! the outside screen is fine. someone please help!
SOLUTION

• Typically problems with your screen comes down to Battery problems. so try replacing that first. Remember with any new battery you need to let it fully charge and fully die twice before normal charging. If that doesn't fix the problem check the ribbons and the connections inside the phone. YOU MIGHT WANT A PROFESSIONAL TO DO THIS FOR YOU!!!! At this point if it still doesn't work start saving for a new phone cause your LCD is either blown or a major fix that will cost lots of money.

(2) NOKIA N90 UNLOCK
Hello there, i bought a nokia N90 in Australia and i have been using there for quite a long time. recently i had to shift to India and i could not use the phone because it had been locked to specific provider. Is there any way, i can make it work in India.

(3) Trouble with my sim card
Hello I would like to introduce my self. My name is Kathy and I am trying to find out how to stop receiving this message on my phone ( inactive sim ) Please help soon as I am going in the hospital in two days and need my phone to work in order to remain in touch w/my son. Thanks for any help!!!
SOLUTION

• Inactive SIM means that you have had your service shut off. I would call Cingular to see why. BTW do you have a Cingular plan or are you still on an old ATT Wireless plan?
• Sounds like your service has been shut off for a while , you may need a new sim. If this is not the case thentake the card out wipe it off and put it back in and see.

(4) FAILING NETWORK
Hey, please let me know why my network fails at about 8pm to 9pm everyday.Please I will also like to know the solution to the problem.
SOLUTION

1. If you are getting the problem every day at particaular time..that means its not problem of your handset the problem is with the tower from where you are getting the signal..,you have to forward your complaint to the service provider...they are the only one who can solve this problem

(5) Can't get to voicemail
Recently I am unable to retrieve voicemail messages from my phone. I have to check them using another phone. When it says please enter your password, I do, but then nothing happens. This also happens if I when I dial a # that has an extension, if i try to dial the ext it doesn't work. So I know the keypad works, but in these instances it is not. Any ideas.
SOLUTION

• If you're not getting access to your V Mail, you need to reset the phone. It should be under the the Advenced portion of the Security setting. Default code is all (6) zeros.
• Try reseting the "keypad tone length" or Tone length. You usually find this option in settings.
• call your carrier and make sure voicemail feature is attached to account

(6) Which nokia phones can run Sat nav
Do you know which NOKIA phones can Sat Nav?I already know E61 and N series 7X, 80, 9X also 6630 and 6680.Which one are you using and what do think is good idea or still need standalone Sat nav when drive?thanks

• I got the phone for free - my son works for Orange and gets a free phoneevery year; this was his old one - and it's not on contract.Mine sits in a charger/hands free unit I got on eBay so it's constantlycharging. On the odd occasion I use it away from the car I get about 10hours use from the phone battery. The BT GPS receiver I have uses thesame battery as the phone and is good for about 100 hours of use.The only problem I have is that sometimes (maybe 1 in 10) after I'vecleared from a phone call TomTom doesn't automatically come back on butif you re-start the programme it goes back to where you are and with theroute details so it's not really a hassle.
• There are even pure Java applications that run on may S40 phones (like6230i), an example is nav4all. The capabilities of java only applications ofcourse being limited. I guess basically any S60 device can run a navigationapplication, some are faster than others. S80 devices too. One just has tobe a bit careful when not all support the new S60 3.0 phones.It is a matter of taste but if there is no in-built navigator in the car,the navigation applications on a phone are a good option. Personally I wouldnot carry any stand alone navigator while the small BT GPS device is easy tohave almost everywhere. Even the map display is not that bad at all (I'mused to an 8" display on my car!). Also the ones I've used are pretty fastcalculating a new route when necessary.

(7) Nokia N90 Antivirus
i had installed two antivires softwares in my nokia n 90 and now unabile to remove either of them . these freewares also activate scan on restart and the phone get hanged . any other solution than formating the c . the data backup in pc has been alredy lost
SOLUTION

• u need to install a software file man thru which u can remove these softwares....pls take back up of all ur data....after that do normal restore of ur fone..
• You need cable to connect with pc and install some software who you can acces to phone but via cable not blutoth or infrared ok?

• type this code in your mobile *#7370# and lock code is 12345
• why don't you try this but make sure that you have a full battery!switch off the phone and then hold down '3', * and call button at the same time! then switch it on! mind you it's not that easy and I won't take any responsibility to the damage done if there is any!
